If you purchased a home in 2009, now is the time to file for HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION. Failure to file may result in a tax penalty as well as a loss of Homestead Exemption for Owner Occupants.

Most counties will allow you to file up until March 1st. Please call the tax office in your county or check their website for more information.
